Label industry mourns passing of Jeff Clifton

Jeff Clifton, a long-time label industry veteran, passed away on Sunday, July 14. Clifton, born February 12, 1960 and who was a resident of Saint Peters, MO, served as the owner of JC Flexo & Converting. He worked alongside K Laser Technology, and he also fucntioned as a distributor for Magpowr.

“Jeff has a been a boss to many people yet he treated everyone as equals. His honesty and integrity was unparalleled in the industry,” says J. Michael Rivera, K Laser Technology (USA) general manager. “He was always willing to help anyone without taking any credit, and he was the most humble person that I have ever met. He will be greatly missed.”

Jeff’s company also served as an independent representative or distributor for: Maxcess International, including Magpowr tension systems, Fife Guides, and Tidland Air Shafts and Knives.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Carol Rose Clifton; beloved wife, Debbie Clifton; his children: Kelly Clifton, Jennifer (Danny) Sokolich, and Kim Clifton; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Vada Sokolich; his step-children, Danny Hudzinski and Brittany (Richard) Pham; his father-in-law, John Goste; his brother-in-law John (Laura) Goste; and his nieces, Amanda and Megan Goste. He was a devoted Christian, who attended church regularly. Hunting was one of Jeff’s passions, and he enjoyed getting out to hunt deer or turkey whenever he could.
